I wanted to try a different style for this print and I also didn’t want to highlight one specific verse, but rather the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Genesis 3. I read this over and over again and realized that Adam and Eve were given a choice and the choice hasn’t changed today. They could have trusted God and left the tree alone just as we can trust God and leave sin alone, but they didn’t and we don’t either. I put the word choice in the fruit because that was really what God planted in the garden. I think it could have been called the tree of choice because essentially God gave mankind choice by its creation. It’s a really simple choice that is still laid before us everyday. Trust God or don’t. Choose Christ and their is life choose to think that you are God and take death.
